Our most frequently asked questions and answers are listed below, please click on the question titles to reveal the answers.

CupaCake do not claim to get an exact colour match due to the edible inks used and the colour of the icing sheet itself. Therefore, exact pantone colours cannot be guaranteed, but we do our best to get as near as possible. (CupaCake are not liable for incorrect pantone colours).

Our cupcakes may contain traces of nuts as we use ingredients that could have been produced in a factory where nuts are used in other products.

If you do have to cancel your order, unfortunately we will be unable to refund your payment.

We have cupcake stands available for hire, these really enhance the overall presentation of your cupcakes.

A tasting session can be arranged for the fee of £8.00, this includes 2 cupcakes in one flavour, tea or coffee and an opportunity to discuss your occasion (chocolate flavour is at a supplement of £1.00).

Tasting sessions are offered on proposed orders of 100 cupcakes or more and the tasting fee will be deducted when a confirmed order is placed.

Most orders require full payment when placing an order. For weddings & large orders it is advisable to ‘save the date’ with a £50 deposit. If you book your order within 4 months of your celebration date, we will require a 25% deposit of your total order and the remaining balance 1 month prior to delivery/collection date. Deposits are non-refundable.

We do offer a set-up service for a fee of £25.00 on top of your delivery charge (if applicable).

We can deliver your Cupcakes for orders of 12 or more, you can or course collect them from our premises. Please contact us for delivery charges outside of this area.

Delivery on a Sunday with incur a nominal fee of £5.00. This will be added to the delivery rate based on postcode.

During the months of April to September, these are our busiest, so we advise you book Wedding cupcakes between 4 – 9 months in advance to avoid dissappontment.  General orders can be taken with as little as 2 weeks notice, all dependant on design.  In any event, please call us, we will be more than happy to discuss availability and we have often supplied short notice orders in the past, even for weddings!

12 cupcakes is the minimum order in any one flavour.

  • Cheque made payable to Michelle Newson (this will depend on timings in order for the cheque to be processed)
  • Cash in advance
  • BACs (for which details can be sent, please allow up to 5 working days for a BACS payment to be processed); PayPal (this will incur a 3.5% surcharge).
